Who can apply to the PWII Certificate Course?
The Certificate Program in Process Oriented Psychology offered by PWII is one of the first full-fledged courses in the field of psychotherapy in India.
The 2-year part-time course gives participants an in-depth perspective and experience in the various facets of process oriented psychology. Participants can subsequently train and qualify as process oriented psychotherapists by enrolling into the diploma program for another 2 years – the first 2 years of the certificate program being pre-requisite for joining the diploma.
This program consists of 7 face-to-face classroom teaching blocks, of 6 days each, spread over a period of 18 months. It involves theory, experiential work, personal work in therapy, and praxis (working with clients under supervision). The teaching sessions integrate various learning methodologies including classroom training, one-to-one therapy sessions, as well as virtual learning sessions.
Each cohort gets interesting opportunities to learn and interact with reputed Processwork faculty members from across the world. Participants also experience group work within the cohort and interact with each other frequently. Upon successful completion of the program, one can use these newly acquired skills to work with groups, individuals, clients as therapists (under supervision), or work on their own self.
For those keen on going further in-depth, this course is a precursor and pre-requisite to apply to the diploma program.
Minimum academic qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.
Note: Process Work Institute of India welcomes and admits participants of any race, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, age, sexual orientation, or physical ability.
